Where we have been

The bible instructs us in many ways regarding how and when we are to receive ministry. The Goll’s have followed them all. In some cases these instructions have been followed multiple times. Our first step has been to gather church leadership and ask them to pray over the cancer. This has of course included anointing with oil. It has been wisdom to allow God room to move over a period of time. During this waiting period the problem persisted and we then went to people/ministries who had a demonstrated gift for healing. Again, we waited to allow God to move. The problem has persisted and the Healing rooms were brought in to pray. The Goll’s have involved various levels of apostolic prayer and as of yet the problems have persisted. The Goll’s had examined dozens of possible open doors and with the witness of others all have been closed. Yet the problem has persisted. We believe that having done all things we know to do or have been led to do it is now time to shift strategy.

A time to shift strategy

Greetings on behalf of the Board of Directors of Encounters Network. We are sure all of you know the critical nature of the health issues facing James and Michal Ann Goll. This has been a long hard struggle but they both are living in a place of Grace and Faith. There have been so many people/ministries lifting up the Golls with fruit evident at many junctures. We believe that the Spirit has revealed a different strategy in this new year. Many of you are aware that the Jewish new-year starts September 13th and 14th with the celebration of Rosh ha-Shanah. “L’shanah Tova,” happy New Year! We believe this new strategy will come alongside of prayer support already in place. We believe that we should target tissue groups within the Goll’s bodies with pointed, specific prayer.

The Gamma Knife approach

Recently, while in prayer for the Goll's a word came forth in almost an involuntary way. This word was spoken out loud, “Gamma knife! Gamma knife! Gamma knife!” The first response to this word was to think this is a treatment regime that the Golls should consider. However, in researching the gamma knife procedure the Spirit began to suggest that this is a new way to pray for the Golls.
