Greetings in Jesus’ great Name! This past weekend I had the honor of ministering at a conference in Fargo, North Dakota – Fire in the North - along with Munday Martin and Pastor Jim Samuelson. People gathered from neighboring states for this regional event. I found the people in ND to have a deep hunger for the things of the Lord. Your ongoing support enables me to your ambassador. This week, instead of writing up some prayer points, I want you to watch my short video on Justice for the Poor and listen to Michal Ann’s amazing message on Compassion Acts that was used to birth this vital ministry that continues to this day. Let’s lift a cry to the Lord in our Global Prayer Storm for the poor in our respective cities, states or provinces and nations. Listen to these messages and then pray.

Make it personal this week. Let the Holy Spirit lead you in “the hour that changes the world” and together, around the world with a wall of prayer, let’s believe the Lord for impact and societal transformation for Jesus Christ sake.

In Behalf of the Ministries of Encounters Network • Prayer Storm • Compassion Acts

About a week ago, our dear sister, Ada Winn, passed from this life to the eternal realm of glory. She was a devoted lover of Jesus and known as a Beloved Woman of the Cherokee who labored through the power of honor to bring healing and reconciliation to her people and land. Ada Winn served an incredible service to this country and the Cherokee Nation through her ministry with the Cherokee Prayer Initiative.

With Ada’s walk upon the Crystal Sea, I thought it appropriate to testify of her humble work in the Lord.  It was an honor to coauthor with Ada a chapter in Michal Ann Goll’s book, “Compassion.” Along with a host of others, we have worked with Ada on the Cherokee National Day of Prayer in Tahlequah over the past few years.  James Goll, Mark Roye, our own late Michal Ann, my wife Paula and I and many others, all had the privilege of walking closely with Ada in these efforts for the past few years. These gatherings have been a highlight of our year. There have always been spiritual fireworks at these gatherings.  
 
Back some years ago through what could only be a God encounter, we were given a gavel made from the sycamore tree under which the first court was held outside of colonial rule in Carter County, TN.  Ms. Ada had carried this gavel to new spiritual heights.  I gave her the gavel at the 2009 Cherokee National Day of Prayer.  She had wielded this prophetic gavel of justice in many cities.  She convened the courts of heaven with power and insight. She declared fullness with the power of the cross.  This past March she gave back the gavel for me to steward for a season.  As she passed across the great veil, I had the gavel in my hand.

Indeed, Ada has now taken up a new scepter with her heart of justice and authority in the heavenly realm, a reward for her intercessory work for her people and the nations. If we know the Beloved Woman, Ada Winn, at all, we are sure that with joy she laid her scepter immediately at the feet of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in worship to the One who is worthy. Indeed, she lived a life of sacrificial prayer and forgiveness.
 
I suppose if we were to visit Ada’s apartment in Oklahoma, it would not be furnished as nicely as some.  I know without a shadow of a doubt, my friend, Ada Winn, is now living in the most expensive neighborhood in heaven.  She certainly finished her race well.  We will all miss her laughter and endearing smile.
