From the Desk of James W. Goll
I returned this past Friday night with my son Tyler from an 8 day trip to Seoul, Korea where I had the honor of ministering at two churches and the Revive Korea Conference with 5,000 people in attendance. I was surprised to find out that I had four additional books translated into the Korean language: Angelic Encounters, Compassion, Prayer Storm and Praying for Israel’s Destiny. Along with the public ministry, I was privileged to meet privately with and pray for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, a top CEO in the nation, other business leaders and pastors. It was a fruitful trip, thanks for praying for me while I was away.
If you are new to Encounters Network and our global Prayer Storm efforts, we welcome you aboard. We presently have people from 74 nations participating with representation from every continent. Every hour of every day is covered with scores of people who believe in “the hour that changes the world”. If you have missed some of the web casts, free MP3 messages or want to review some of the past prayer themes, you can do so right on our web site.
This week we are going to pray for the poor of the earth and ask for God’s heart for them. We want to see the love and power of God touch these precious people. We are highlighting Miraculous Love Ministries founded by David and Taylor Causer, David was a former intern of EN, and their team while they serve the poor in Brazil. See the write up below from Bekah Larzelere concerning this worthy outreach to provide shoes and food to the poor in slums around Sao Palo Brazil. Bekah, who was also a former intern with Encounters Network and later served as a staff member. She now works as a nurse in a Cardiac Clinic. She had no intention of going on this trip, but an anointing of Compassion came upon her during several dreams and visions after which she was compelled to follow through. Through many divine appointments and with much favor from her employers and government officials, she gathered 1,000 pair of shoes from Soles4Souls to take to the poor. After her God encounters, she could not concieve of going on the trip and sharing the message of Salvation without demonstrating that Love in some practcal way. Let’s pray and believe for God’s presence to be poured out in Brazil and among the poor of world this week in practical ways as well as through the preaching of the Word.
This past month we hosted our Prayer Storm Intensive – The Fire Must Burn. The teaching, worship and impartation times were very rich and rewarding. You can order the CD Set for $29 plus shipping if you were unable to attend.
Recently the Lord gave me a dream about our EN Online Resource Center. I heard the voice of the Holy Spirit say, “EN Resources – Great Product at Great Prices.” In the dream, I saw us offering a free product every month with any purchase. With this in mind, you can receive a FREE copy of Michal Ann’s and my book Angelic Encounters over the next few weeks. This book will make a great Christmas present – so take advantage of this free offer and tell others about it.
So let’s cultivate God’s heart for the poor and put feet to our faith.
And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race]. Mark 16:15 (Amplified Bible)
Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed and made appointment with them. And when they saw Him, they fell down and worshiped Him; but some doubted. Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be). Matthew 28: 16-20 (Amplified Bible)
Pray for how you can go and share the Father's Heart...

The Goodness of God As We Go!
I just want to say THANK YOU for your prayer support while we are on this trip!!! It means so much to us and we really could not be doing this without it! I know that sounds cliche but I know it to be true!
I want to give you a quick summary of our time here thus far and what we have ahead of us still...
We were scheduled to fly out of Atlanta last Thursday early afternoon, but all the computers were shut down throughout the entire airport and all the flights were being cancelled or delayed. We made it to our next connection as they shut the gate. But by the grace and goodness of God, the attendants their minds and let us board! We arrived in Sao Paulo finally but our bus did not come due to the fact it was a national holiday. After several more hours of waiting and riding we finally arrived at our hotel! While riding from Sao Paulo, we passed one of the largest favellas (slums) in Brazil. It broke my heart. I later found out that Heidi Baker and Iris Ministries has a base there..hmmm, I may find myself back there one of these days.
By this time, we all realized it was time to rest and pray.
On Saturday, we took shoes and food to a place under a bridge where several churches come together and serve meals to the homeless. That day, we served over 200. It was great fun to interact with them and share the love of Jesus. We got to work on our Portugese and love on the unloved. It was such a delight to see how happy these men were to get a pair of shoes! After leaving the homeless shelter we went to a favella (slum) and were surprised to see people lining the street waiting for us. Somehow word was out that we were coming and they were most definitely expecting us!
We shared about the love of the Father and how it is his great delight to give good gifts to His children. And how through Jesus' death and resurrection, anyone can become a child of God. We prayed for the sick and saw several healings. There were a couple of deaf ears opened, one eye sight restored. I had a women with intense stomach pain, which I think may have been a tumor, completely healed and filled with joy. She kept saying there was fire on her and asked me why I was putting heat on her. She couldnt stop laughing! Through an interpreter, I explained about the Holy Spirit and the Day of Pentecost.
The the shoes came out. It was crazy! The kids would take the shoes back to their houses and come back with bare feet and asking for another pair. We finally understood that they were giving away the shoes to those who had not come to join the crowd. We were humbled at their generosiity.
I love how the Lord is moving and stirring our hearts as we are reaching out to others. We are learning that we can only give what we have received and we are realizing that we need more to give out more. So please continue to lift us up in prayer. We are spending tomorrow with our interpreters whom we have all come to love so much! None of us want to leave them!! We leave early Tuesday morning for Joinville and will be there for the remainder of our time here.
Much love and thanks again for your prayers! They ARE making a difference!!
