Last week our PrayerStorm efforts highlighted The Global Day of Prayer and The Call Jerusalem on May 11th! I am “in the land” right now and I have the great honor of leading a team of 50 plus to Israel for The Call Jerusalem! Over 3,000 others from across the nations joined in for this momentous gathering. I will be returning on May 16th with our group returning on May 20th. So far it has already been one amazing prayer journey where today we experienced an “open heaven” at the Pool of Bethsaida and Saint Ann’s Cathedral.
The Lord moved upon me in deep travail with weeping on many occasions at TheCall Jerusalem. Burdens fell upon me that Jerusalem not be a divided city and for campuses and universities to have visitations. The worship was amazing with Misty Edwards from IHOP-Kansas City leading the way with some piercing vocals and also leading in worship were indigenous teams from the land of Israel. For me, personally, it seemed like a culmination of years of prayer. I felt "I gave birth” in prophetic intercession late that night. I have not been moved upon that deeply in some years to be honest. It was not new territory to me but one that the Lord has not visited in my life in this degree for some time. I found myself laboring for a prayer shield of protection to be raised up between Israel and Syria – I felt an intense burden upon me to cover the next three months. So – Lord – raise up your shield of protection forYour people and purposes in Jesus' great name.
We will continue to carry Israel this week in prayer. We want you to join with us in our weekly thrust by “praying through the land” with us. Remember there is no distance in prayer. So come along and pray through the land with us this week in PrayerStorm time.
Michal Ann will be released from the rehab unit on Friday the 16th. Pray that she continues to gain strength daily in Jesus' name. She will need 24-hour care so this is an opportunity for us to bring on a second full time health care assistant in our home. Thanks for standing with us in our hour of personal crisis both in your prayers and financial giving. We need you to continue to stand with us in this hour.

Jerusalem to be divided, declares Israeli official
...says Palestinians can rename city 'whatever they want'
JERUSALEM – A top member of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's government announced Israel "must" give up sections of Jerusalem for a future Palestinian state, even conceding the Palestinians can rename Jerusalem "to whatever they want."
"We must come today and say, friends, the Jewish neighborhoods, including Har Homa, will remain under Israeli sovereignty, and the Arab neighborhoods will be the Palestinian capital, which they will call Jerusalem or whatever they want," said Israeli Vice Premier Haim Ramon.
Positions held by Ramon, a ranking member of Olmert's Kadima party, are largely considered to be reflective of Israeli government policy.

17- "Then you will know that I, the LORD your God, dwell in Zion, my holy hill.
Jerusalem will be holy; never again will foreigners invade her.

and the hills will flow with milk; all the ravines of Judah will run with water.
A fountain will flow out of the LORD's house and will water the valley of acacias.
19- But Egypt will be desolate,
Edom a desert waste, because of violence done to the people of Judah,
in whose land they shed innocent blood.
20- Judah will be inhabited forever and Jerusalem through all generations.
21- Their bloodguilt, which I have not pardoned, I will pardon."

Syria ups army infrastructure on border
Syria has spent the past few months constructing and moving infrastructure to its southern border that could be used to launch a war against Israel, senior defense officials have told The Jerusalem Post.
According to the officials, the Syrian military - while restricted in the number of troops it is allowed to deploy along the border - has moved military infrastructure, including fuel depots, closer to the frontier. The Syrians have also built structures in the area that could serve as weapons stores and military bases.
"There is no doubt that something out of the ordinary is taking place on the Syrian side of the border," a high-ranking official said.
