Last week our PrayerStorm efforts highlighted the U. S. National Day of Prayer, which is annually held on the first Thursday of May by Presidential Decree. Thank you for joining in with us in Governmental and Crisis Intercession! This week we join in on two other Global Prayer Strategies (by the way – PRAYER is God’s Global Positioning System!) - The Global Day of Prayer and TheCall Jerusalem both on Mother’s Day, May 11th and we will be participating in both these tremendous worldwide prayer efforts!
In fact, I will be leading a team of 55 people leaving this week on Friday, May 9th for Israel! We will participate in TheCall Jerusalem on site on May 11th along with 3,000 others from across the nations. It will also be aired live on God TV – so join in with us on the internet or by television!
Michal Ann has continued to stay at a rehab unit this past week. She has had both some good and some difficult days. She remains weak though she has had some improvement in her appetite. So continue to pray that she gains strength daily in Jesus Name. Pray also for Kathy Colbert as she holds down the fort staying most nights at the facility in the room with Michal Ann. They watch the Florida Healing Revival each night in her room via the internet. We thank the Lord for a very timely word given to Michal Ann and I by Paul Cain that was aired live last Sunday evening. Thanks for standing with us in our hour of personal crisis both in your prayers and financial giving. We need you to continue to stand with us in this hour.

Global Day of Prayer – Pentecost Sunday, May 11, 2008
On May 15, 2005 millions of Christians from 156 nations in the world united in the first ever Global Day of Prayer. Christians gathered in different venues, seeking God's face in repentance and prayer for the transformation of their communities and nations.
Driven by Hab. 2:14 : For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea, the dream is to mobilize Christians from every single nation in the world to participate in the Global Day of Prayer over the next few years until 2010. However, the focus is not only on a single day of prayer, but to see a lifestyle of prayer established that will transform communities.
This move of prayer is still miraculously expanding. In 2006 millions of Christians from 199 nations united in prayer and in 2007 even more Christians from 204 nations participated.
On Pentecost Sunday, May 11, 2008, the nations of the world will once again unite in the Global Day of Prayer. What follows is the first stanza of “A Prayer For The World,” a prayer written by the organizers of the Global Day of Prayer which they ask to be read aloud at each observance of the day. Let it be a guide and an inspiration to your prayers this week!
A Prayer For The World
Almighty God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
Together with believers all over the world,
We gather today to glorify Your Name.
You are the Creator of heaven and earth.
There is no one like You, holy and righteous in all Your ways.
We submit to Your authority as the King of the universe.
We pray with one voice to enthrone You in our hearts
and to honour You before the world.

TheCall Jerusalem – Pentecost Sunday, May 11, 2008
A Solemn Assembly for Jerusalem and the Middle East
We are living in the most dramatic and strategic hour of human history. The Scriptures describe a time yet to come when God will send a great revival, surpassing the Book of Acts, while simultaneously releasing His judgments that will shake everything that can be shaken until God Himself establishes peace in the Middle East (Haggai 2:6-9). The righteous judgments of God will confront the raging tide of sin as He raises up a generation with apostolic power who turn the world upside down (Acts 17:6-7).
Despite the raging of the nations and even when it seems like all hope is lost, God still has a holy prescription – Joel 2 – Blow the trumpet in Zion! Consecrate a fast! Call a sacred assembly and let us turn to Him with all our hearts.
On May 11, 2008, we will gather in Jerusalem to contend for the fullness of the Holy Spirit to be poured out on His people in Israel and the Middle East. It is time for His people, both Jews and Gentiles to ascend the hill of the Lord by gathering in His name to cry out for the fulfillment of God’s promises for His people. We do not come with a political agenda but to seek God for a spiritual breakthrough.
Israel 2008 TheCall is summoning God’s people in the Middle East to gather together in Jerusalem for a Joel 2 moment in history. TheCall is not an event led by celebrities, but a solemn assembly of people who desire to love God with all their heart and seek Him for much-needed spiritual breakthrough. For 12 hours (10am-10pm) we will gather for repentance, worship and intercession that God’s glory would be poured out on Jerusalem and the Middle East. The singers and musicians who lead throughout the day are worshippers, not entertainers. We gather for worship, unity, prayer, fasting, repentance, reconciliation and revival as seen in the Book of Acts.
