This week I want to give you an important update on the life and ministry of Encounters Network. We had our annual EN Board of Directors meeting this past week and the Lord has given some fresh strategies for our next phase of things. I am also going to give you a pictorial over view of some of the things we are doing and places I have been since the first of the year.

Remember, FIRE ON THE ALTAR includes 7 days of round the clock intercession and worship culminating in a Lampstand Convergence Conference May 21 – 23 at the newly built Jesus Haus. I will be there for the last few days to participate in the Convergence Conference. It would be great if some our Prayer Storm team and Network Prayer Warriors came to be a part. I hope to see some of you there!

We have a brand new look on our EN Home web site! You will want to visit and see!  We also have free new postings on our EN Media portion of our www.encountersnetwork.com web site. Also, visit our online bookstore to get a copy of the new book Adventures in the Prophetic. Also, with any purchase for the month of March you will get the book The Seer 40 Day Devotional Journal.

So now let’s take a look at some of the places I have been in recent months and some of the changes taking place. Thanks for your love, prayers and support!  We can not do this without you!

Change in the Wind!
An Update from EN

 

The Holy Spirit is requiring us to down size this ministry by June 2010. He spoke this word to me for 6 mornings in a row the last week of November 2009. The Board and Management Team are all in agreement and the work is now on. Here are a few points of change that are underway. There is more to come!

• We are Committed to Down Sizing this Ministry by the Word of the Lord by June 2010. This could take on many forms – some of which are decided at this time and others yet to be decided. But we focus on a few things and do them well. More on this in the future!
  
  
• EN will stop being the Land Lord of the Noah Drive Facility by the end of April 2010. We will vacate the building and down size into a smaller rented facility just for EN. We have located a small commercial use house close to downtown Franklin, TN. We have the month of April to make the transition.
  
  
• I realize that my role in this next season is a more of a consultant to other leaders, ministries and businesses versus leading and managing a growing international ministry with many expressions. I will limit the amount of pastoring leaders, leading networks and gatherings that EN hosts. We have cancelled all our EN Conferences, Schools and Classes at this time I do not know how long a  “season” is or even looks like – but I know I must down size and carry less on my personal plate.
  
  
• I need more personal time to heal from the trauma we have been through as a family. As you know, I went from losing my wife to then being immersed into fighting for my physical life. I now need time to find a “new life” – in God, ministry, the rebuilding of my physical health, finances, trusted friendships and in almost every area of life. We, as a family, ministry and community of people have shouldered trauma on top of trauma. It is now time for restoration.
  
  
• We need a financial miracle at EN. We only have 80 monthly pledge contributors to under write this worldwide ministry. We are doing all we can to downsize, but even with that we are still in need of our base of support being re-established. We need around 300 monthly financial supporters. We need one-time gifts to help us make this transition. Perhaps you could join us at $1 a day and be a new monthly partner! (Put a link here on how to partner.)

Okay!  I trust you will also enjoy the pictorial over view. Pictures say a thousand words and there are scores of new God stories that could be told! Yes, Compassion Acts reaches out to Haiti. Dreamer’s Park will be a reality soon. Prayer Storm continues to reach into 74 nations. EN Media is growing! Healings and miracles are taking place and believers are being taught and growing in discipleship!  Yes Lord!
