Update from the Oasis!

I arrived at the Oasis of Hope Hospital Monday evening, March 12, I believe it was.  My first round of treatment is almost over, as I will be heading home this Friday, March 23rd.  Many of you are already familiar with the Oasis of Hope Hospital and its basic framework, having read Jim's updates he has written from this place.

TREATMENT AT OASIS

My treatment will involve 3 stages - The first stage is where I am at now - 12 days at Oasis, receiving multiple treatments consisting of ozone treatment, vitamin c IV's, ultra violet light treatment to the blood, vitamin B17 therapy and melatonin, along with organic, very nutritional food, and teaching sessions during the day revolving around nutrition, lectures on the Oasis of Hope philosophy, vitamin B-17 home therapy, the 5 year follow up program, questions and answers, etc.  I will go home for 5-6 weeks, and then return to Oasis for 5 days of treatment, and go back home for 5-6 weeks, and return again for 5 days of treatment.  From that point, then I would return for an overnight visit to have a doctor consultation and pick up the next season's prescriptions. It is called the IRT-C program.  We were able to break up the fees into three payments, so each time I come out; I'll pay another portion of the bill.  That was a big help.

In addition to this basic therapy, the doctor assigned to me (I call him "Dr George" as that is his English first name, and I can't pronounce[yet] his last name), wants to put me on a very low level chemotherapy.  It is the same as they have put Jim on.  It will not attack the existing areas, but will prevent the formation of new blood vessels. It has no side effects, and is very safe.  I never thought I would be open to doing chemotherapy, but they do things quite different here, and know how to minimize the negative effects.  I feel I need to follow their advice in this.  I've had a 2nd CT scan done since being here, and it shows no growth since the scan in January -so that's good!  Dr George has also put me on a medication he calls a "liver protector".  It will protect my liver from any further damage, and will help it to repair itself in a few months.  He is very encouraging, saying that the basic treatment gets your immune system up and working again, which will knock out whatever is currently there, and with these other meds in place - they will ensure nothing further develops - giving my immune system time to wake up and do its job.

He is also ordering a bone scan to be done - so that they will have a base line from which to work from for future direction.  So - physically - that's where things are at present.

VISITS FROM FAMILY

It was a great delight to have Rachel fly out on Wednesday to join me here, and then Justin drove down from LA on Thursday - so I had both of them here for 2-3 nights - and then they left Saturday morning - as Justin had to go to work, and Rachel went to spend some time with her brother for a few days before flying back home.  It was such a rich time with them, but having to let them go was so hard!  It took a couple of days to re-gather myself, and just get used to being by myself.  Jim will be flying here Wednesday evening, for a 5 day refresher for himself - so our time will overlap by a couple of days.  We've decided we are going out for dinner and a movie - we're beginning to learn our way around here!

STANDING IN THE SPIRIT

Spiritually - here's some places that you can plug in.  I've been really getting fired up and fed by praying through Daniel 3 and Ps. 18. There is something I believe I am to write up about Daniel 3, but for now -just know that I believe there is great promise to pray into here.  The King had the fire heated seven times hotter, because he got angry - but what that did was kill his strongest men who were used to deliver Daniel's friends into the furnace.  I believe we are to pray that this fire Jim and I are going through will kill the very "strongmen" who have been working so hard to throw us into this place. I believe we will come through without even the smell of smoke on our clothes!

Then look at Ps 18 -it is full of rich promises.  Vs. 11 says, "He made darkness His secret hiding place."  There is a secret hiding place that is dark to the enemy - he can't see in this place -

Vs 28, "For You cause my lamp to be lighted and to shine - the Lord God illumines my darkness."

Vs 33, "He makes my feet like hinds' feet [able to stand firmly or make progress on the dangerous heights of testing and trouble]: He sets me securely upon my high places.

Vs 34, "He teaches my hands to war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

Vs 36 - 42 - this talks about pursuing and overtaking the enemy - beating them fine as dust and emptying them out as dirt and mire on the streets.  It is a war cry of declaration that we will overcome our enemies, they will not overcome us. God will give us the neck of our enemies. (This is how in the original Olympic games, the winner would put his foot on the neck of his adversary.)

Look also in Numbers 23:19-24 - God does not lie, He delivers what He promises. What He has spoken, will He not make it good?  I just feel it is time to really praise Him and declare and decree here on the earth what He has promised - It feels like a time of war - and its time to boast in our God, to the point like what happened at the end of Daniel 3.  Even the King of Babylon himself decreed that "there is no other God who can deliver in this way!"

DAILY CONFESSION - MIRACLES, MIRACLES, MIRACLES!

Okay - so this is my update.  I pray over myself every day, several times a day, this prayer, "I resist, I rebuke, I reject, I refuse every form of cancer from my body, in Jesus' Name.  My liver resists, rejects, and refuses every cancerous cell.  Every part of my body resists, rejects, and refuses every cancerous cell.  I receive the healing power of Jesus into every part of my body - I receive the goodness of Jesus into every part of my body, and I call forth life into my body now.  I call forth miracles, miracles, miracles, miracles! I speak to my immune system to be recalibrated, and to wake up!  I speak to my killer cells, and commission you to go to war and kill those cancer cells, in the name of Jesus. I speak discernment over you, that you will know and recognize those cells that have been hiding, masking themselves. We pull off the camouflage, right now, in the name of Jesus, for them to be seen as what they are.  We declare, "No weapon formed against me shall prosper!" In Jesus Name. Amen.

I hope this helps some.  This is where I am, and I am having to stir myself to rise up and make the decrees.  If I start to quiet down, its amazing how the Lord has sent different ones to talk about Daniel 3, almost like He is urging me to stay on this course. Even Dr Contreras (the head doctor of Oasis), got up for the Sunday morning service and spoke out of Daniel 3!  I had to say, "OK, Lord, I'm hearing You!  Just keep it coming!" 

As a side note, isn't it wonderful to think of a hospital having a Sunday service, in the cafeteria, and the head physician talks with everyone about needing Jesus!  He gave honor to Jesus, Him being the Great Physician, and the staff here is just helpers. .. What a beautiful place to prepare for Jesus to be Lord, to be honored, received, and fully welcomed!
