To Our EN Family!

Here is the update after meeting with the neurosurgeon on Tuesday, June 19th and the radiologist on Wednesday.

Michal Ann is recovering quite well - actually ahead of the normal schedule.  She has responded really well following the surgery, is full of life and her spirits are good.  She came to the office for a little while on Thursday to see everyone and this was a pleasant surprise for all.

She started whole brain radiation treatments on Thursday of this week right in Franklin, TN at a center close to where we live. She will have 15 treatments over the next three weeks.  The last one will be on July 13th. Then there will be a 4 - 6 week break followed by an evaluation and probably a "booster radiation treatment" targeted to the small growth in the right front part of her brain. 

YES! We are still hosting our 10th Annual Women on the Frontlines Conference - A Great Company of Women - this August 1-4, 2007 here in Nashville.  Michal Ann will definitely pace herself throughout the conference - but we are moving ahead and want you to come and celebrate with us. 

Typically (now Michal Ann is not typical and prayer works) the patient will lose all their hair at the end of the 3 weeks of treatment - they often have loss of appetite, fatigue, etc.  She will really need to rest a lot at that point. Our prayer is HEALING and an easy time through all of this!

Kathy Colbert, our friend of many years, is helping and living with us in our home. She is committed to being with us through the first of August.  This is a big help and an answer to prayer.  We are so grateful for her and the grace she brings. Things are moving forward well and yet we know we still have a lot in front of us. We are so grateful for the notes and flowers people have sent and all the prayers that have ascended across the globe!  Keep the prayers going! Remember, "What goes up - must come down!"

On the family front, Justin is home for about 3 weeks and we are blessed to have him here with us. GraceAnn departs for Australia on July 2nd and we will have a going away celebration for her next week.  Tyler continues to work for our ministry 20 hours a week and Rachel is preparing for her modeling revue in August and life just keeps rolling on . . .  I continue on with preparations for TheCall Nashville - A Sacred Assembly. This is not a festival it is a fast, a national level worship and prayer rally at Titan Stadium on 07-07-07.
