Reflections from James W. Goll...

Many of you will have heard by now, but my dear fried Jill Austin went home to be with Jesus in a natural manner after two emergency surgeries at the Lee's Summit Hospital on Friday, January 9th, 2009 at 9:48 PM.  I had the honor of flying to Kansas City and was able to be with her ministry assistant of years, Linda Valen, and was by Jill's bedside on Friday afternoon.

I had the honor of praying over Jill and talking to her (though she was in a sleep state) that afternoon.  I had a great talk and wept over my dear friend.  My tears wet her body and I kissed her on the forehead on behalf of all of us who had been dramatically impacted by the life of the fieriest prophetess this planet has known in generations.

What a woman of God dear Jill Austin was; she was the real deal who knew how to dance with the angels.  On one hand, we are all shocked how suddenly this took place. But it is a blessing that her pain and agony did not last long. I already miss our many debriefing chats on "what happened in the room" from all the gatherings we did together.  On the other hand, my Annie has a great new playmate in heaven!  I asked Jill when she got there to go and give my darling, Michal Ann, a big hug from me and the kids and tell her that we love and miss her. I hugged Jill's still body in the bed and told her I was hearing some really great things about heaven and that I thought she was going to like it there.

Jill Austin, the flame throwing prophetess of God who taught us all to hunger for more of the Holy Spirit, will be greatly missed in my household and around the world.  There was only one Austin comet!
