What a joy it is to serve the Lord and equip His people! The theme of Encounters Network is Experiencing His Presence and Releasing His Power. One of the primary ways we do this at EN is through our Conferences, Intensives, and Classes that we offer each year. The following is an overview of some of the highlights of these events hosted by Encounters Network in 2006. The “weekend intensives” in 2006 included the yearly Secret Place Gathering in January in Nashville, followed by the March Advancing the Kingdom through Intercession held in Memphis, and then the June Adventures in the Prophetic in Knoxville. Our 9th Annual August Women on the Frontlines Conference – Gathering the War Generals – was held in the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio.

Then, on top of this, headed up by Chris Poole and the EN Prophetic Activation Team, we also coordinated weekend Prophetic Encounters Intensives in the Nashville area and into Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Lastly, Encounters Training Classes were held in May and June on Angelic Encounters taught by James W. and Michal Ann Goll and followed up by the Worship with the Arts class this October and November hosted by Chris DuPré with various artist and instructors.

So now – let’s recap and recall some of what the Father did at some of these equipping venues – and let’s raise our faith level as we get ready for what lies ahead in 2007!

The Secret Place Gathering

January 2006

With tremendous worship lead by Chris DuPré and Sharon Howarth, we were pleased to be hosted for the second year in a row at the Nashville Vineyard with Pastors Jerry and Cindi Bryant. The theme of this year’s gathering was Living in His Presence. James W. and Michal Ann led the way with Spiritual Readings from great classic literature. This was followed by an explosive message by Michal Ann on Imparting the Presence and James on Responding to the Presence of Christ and other great messages. You can get the 4 CD album from this time called Living in His Presence by visiting our web site. Great artistic pageantry was led by Michael and Mary Cadle and Team. This has become one of the highlights of each year and we look forward to starting the year off right each year with our Secret Place Gathering!

Advancing the Kingdom

through Intercession

March 2006

Our March weekend intensive was held at Christ the Rock Metro Church in Memphis, TN with our Host Pastor Fred Bennett. Worship was lead by the Caleb Band joined by Sharon Howarth both from Florence, Al. Tammy Alsup joined James W. and Michal Ann Goll in the sharing at this strategic event. The EN Interns joined in with us and we had some great times of personal ministry. Messages included Advancing the Kingdom and Governmental Intercession & Networking by Tammy Alsup and Judicial Intercession and Psalm 83 – A Conspiracy Among the Nations by James W. Michal Ann imparted the Spirit of Travail in her afternoon session and we closed out with a Prophetic Impartation time. A 4 CD album called Advancing the Kingdom through Intercession is available through our web site from this Intensive. The team then divided up on Sunday morning and ministered in various congregations with a follow up closing meeting on Sunday night at Christ the Rock Metro Church. The impact was great and we plowed in another new field for Jesus sake!

Adventures in the Prophetic

June 2006

We a great team brought together for our weekend intensive held at Lion Heart Fellowship in the Greater Knoxville, TN with host pastor Mike McClung. What a joy it was to have Chris DuPré lead worship along with worship leaders from the Knoxville House of Prayer.

James W. was joined by Jamie Galloway, Chris Poole and Chris DuPré in teaching and imparting with ministry times supported by the EN Team. We also included a special time of prophetic ministry for all the pastors and spouses at the gathering which was well received. We have produced a lively 4 CD album called Adventures in the Prophetic of messages by James and Jamie modeling the joining of the generations. We also have made available the explosive Saturday night session taught by James W. including the powerful ministry time catching authentic revival intercession in a 2 CD album called Possessed by God!

9th Annual Women on the Frontlines

Conference ~ Gathering the War Generals


August 2006

For many of us at EN, this is our favorite gathering of the year – our Women on the Frontlines Conference. It is targeted towards “Women” but we always declare “Men Come at Your Own Risk!” The outrageous theme this year was Gathering the War Generals! This year left most everyone “wasted on Jesus” in a new level! We thank the Lord for Host Pastors and friends of years, Dave and Donna Kelly of Passion and Fire Worship Center in Greater Cincinnati, Ohio.

Heather Clark from Canada led the way with her clear prophetic sound to her worship leading with piercing vocals by Sharon Howarth and soaking worship from John Belt. Kathy Kennedy-Mills once again brought the arts alive through her Wings of Worship. Generals joining Michal Ann in ministry were Heidi Baker of Mozambique, Africa, Lee Grady of Charisma Magazine, Shelvi Gilmore originally from Sri Lanka and Shirley Sustar from Ohio.

How can you explain what happened at the 9th Annual WOFL Conference? Let’s see – travail, weeping, broken hearts for the nations, laid down lovers for Jesus, chocolate candy bars multiplying, and other amazing manifestations! Yes, Jesus walked in out midst! * Firm Foundation Training Class on Thursday afternoons April 12 through May 17.

* 10th Annual Women on the Frontlines Conference
August 2-4 in Nashville, TN.

* Possible additional Tuesday night classes on Eternity as well as Women in the Prophetic are being considered!

* James also wants to host a School of Revelation – The Seer, Contemplation and the New Mystics.
