A Current Report - More Scans Back

It has been three months since I did up my last Health Update. So here is now my 13 th Health Update being done the middle of September 2005. It has now been a 9 Month ordeal with this bout of cancer. It has been a long journey! I had my latest set of PET and CT scans done a couple of weeks ago and I met with the doctors for a check up and report this past Wednesday.

The growth behind my stomach seems to be a bit smaller and remains cancer free! But the growth on my collarbone remains the same – small but with activity. I was hoping this report would state it was all over – but I remain in the fight! So - the current word is conditions are “stable”. That is a good report – but I look forward to the day when I do up a Health Report and it says, “Eradicated.”

There is one residual affect of the passive immune therapy – fatigue. It does seem though – that this is getting worked out of my system. Pray with me that all side effects be cleansed out of my body, that I be totally healed and made whole in every dimension. “Stable” or “steady as we go” is a good report – but let’s keep our aim high and clear – total restoration is our goal!

The Word of God – Our Prayer Ammunition

 I want to take you back to a dream encounter I had with the Holy Spirit the end of December 2004 where I was given five effective bullets of grace. Let’s look at this dream again and reload our prayer weapon of warfare. I was shown a gun and it was being loaded with five bullets of effective grace. Each bullet had a scripture written on it. Let’s reload our guns and continue to pray and declare these scriptures out loud!

Jeremiah 30:17 – ‘For I will restore you to health and I will heal you of your wounds,’ declares the Lord.

Isaiah54:17 – ‘No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their vindication is from me,’ declares the Lord.

Proverbs6:31 – But when a thief is found (caught), he must repay seven fold; He must give all the substance of his house.

Leviticus17:11 – For the life of the flesh is in the blood.

Matthew8:16, 17 – And when evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill in order that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, saying, ‘He Himself took our infirmities, and carried away our diseases.’

Join Me in Judicial Intercession

 This past year I did a message called Judicial Intercession. I declared, “It is time to identify and capture a thief.” With this in mind, while seeking the counsel of the Lord, I was shown in a dream, that we would capture three demonic spirits and bring them into the Father’s courtroom for a judicial hearing in Jesus name! They are the spirits of infirmity, thievery, and witchcraft. I have stated before, it seems to me that we are laboring for a breakthrough on a larger level than just the life of my wife and I. I am asking you to join our family and ministry team in binding up these generational, demonic spirits.

Call forth the Father’s decree from His throne room, pray for the binding up of this dark force, and declare that it is time for retribution, justice and favor to come. We will turn the tables on the devil and come forth with a great testimony for Jesus’ sake! Continue to join us in this courtroom hearing appeal!

“Present your case,” the Lord says. “Bring forward your strong arguments,” the King of Jacob says. (Isaiah 41:21)

“Put Me in remembrance; let us argue our case together, state your cause, that you may be proved right.” (Isaiah 43:26)

Some join our staff on Thursdays as a special day for prayer and fasting as well. Thanks to all of you who do so! Let’s keep praying for a complete breakthrough! “And this is the victory that overcomes the world – even our faith!”

 An Update on Ministry and Personal Finances

 I am going to be stark honest with you. We did fairly well financially the first six months of this fight. But when the middle of June came around – it seemed like the bottom fell out! Our ministry finances are now at a very strained level. We currently have thousands of dollars in bills that are due! We just have not had the on going support we need for the degree of crisis we have faced. This has now created a big pinch on us in both our personal and ministry finances! We have had to take Tyler and Rachel out of their Christian School in September – in part – as we just don’t have the funds now for their tuition. We have put a temporary freeze on ministry spending of all types and we are tightening our belt – we have been there before. Many of you have also! We will come through on the other side as the Lord is our provider.

Why would our finances be like this? This summer I only had three honorariums to turn in plus very little product sales from travels since I was not out and about on the campaign trail! This again is a result of my need to do less due to the fatigue factor. In reviewing our finances this summer, I had a shocking surprise. I found that only 5% of our Annual Budget comes through Monthly Pledges! We have worked diligently on this area – but it continues to a weak link with us. We have to make changes! “Lord, have mercy on us! Give us the wisdom and the underwriters needed in order to progressively proceed.”

I want to say a special “Thank You” to all the churches, ministries and individuals who have supported us in this season. We are so grateful for you. I especially want to thank Charles and Ann Stock at Life Center in Harrisburg, PA; Brian and Candace Simmons at Gateway Christian Fellowship in New Haven, CT; Che and Sue Ahn of Harvest International Ministries in Pasadena, CA; Peter and Doris Wagner and the Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders in Colorado Springs, CO; and Pastor Hong and Team in South Korea who have stood with us.

But, as you can tell, we do need continued special financial help for the fall months to meet our ministry and personal needs. So – with humility and brokenness, we present to you – our community of believers and friends - our pressing circumstances.

An Update with Michal Ann

Michal Ann is in strength and continuing to do well. Her energy level is good and she is “in faith!” She has not had any tests done for some time but probably will soon. She is doing everything possible on both a nutritional level and alternative medicines. Please agree with us for a complete breakthrough on her health – that is our request!

Michal Ann ministered day and night at the Holy Given Missions School and the Pastors School in Mozambique in June. The team ministering in the villages and fell in love with the orphans and were thoroughly blessed. Her focus in recent weeks has been the Women’s Conference, the home front, office work and her health.

She is an amazing woman – a true virtuous women and a champion of the faith.

The Family Matters!

 Justin turns 22 October 4th! Amazing! He is now a student at Video Symphony in Burbank, CA for probably the next 14 months. GraceAnn is now in her first year at Belmont University and living at home. Surprise – Surprise - Tyler and Rachel are now being home schooled! Oh my – I never thought we would be doing that. Life is full of surprises and changes! Grace! Grace! Grace!

Thanks to all who gave special gifts to enable our four kids (young adults) to go minister in Jesus name on mission trips in Mozambique and Mexico this summer. Michal Ann said that she could not have been prouder of how well they all did on their trips! Thank you Lord!

Other Ministry News!

Michal Ann’s and my coauthored book, God Encounters, just came out in July and it is great! Visit our web site to order a copy of this new exciting book! I also just had The Seer 40 Day Devotional Journal come out and it is a great compliment to The Seer.

Our yearly Women on the Frontlines Conference this past August 4 – 6 th in Florence, Alabama was wonderful! This year’s theme was A Call to Take ActionTogether! Stacey Campbell, Patricia King, Heather Clark, and Shelvi Gilmore along with Michal Ann and Beth Alves did fabulously. I am also in the midst of doing a new class on Tuesday nights called Dream Language. Michal Ann will facilitate another 6-week class called Compassion Acts beginning in November. This is Phase One of our God Encounters Training School. We also have seven part time Interns with our ministry! Go Team Go!

I cancelled my international trips for 3 more months as a wisdom issue. I have not been outside of North America for the past nine months – this is very unusual for me! However, Michal Ann and I will lead our Israel Prayer Tour in October. We are looking forward to going with our group of 30 plus. This will be my first time to be “in the Land for the Day of Atonement”.

So we press onward into the upward call in Christ Jesus!

Completing the Course!

It is time to turn the corner in God. Let’s move forward in Christ Jesus! Michal Ann and I both want a full recovery. Remember, “When the thief is caught he must repay seven fold”. That includes sevenfold time, energy, money, health and everything else! Let’s complete the course!

In Christ, let’s pray that any remaining cancer in Michal Ann’s liver departs. Command the remaining 17% of the growth on my collarbone and the 30% behind my stomach to dry up! Pray the hedge of protection around our lives and ministry so that this “witch craft” will never be able to infiltrate again!
