From the Desk of James W. Goll
The agreeing prayers of believers in Christ Jesus shape history. Through our Global Prayer Storm we get to do just that! The last couple of weeks, we have prayed for the Release of The Seer Anointing and followed this up with a collective cry to the Lord for The Release of Angelic Intervention! Yes, angels were sent forth in answer to our prayers. How exciting! Your prayers make a difference.
This week we will pick up the theme of Crisis Intervention once again, but with targeted specific prayer towards the demonic threats issued from Iran. Dates have been set by the ruling religious authorities of Iran for a catastrophe to take place this week. Whether they are just making noise to draw attention, or if the date of 2/11/10 is a time bomb set ready to go off – could be debated. But the reality is – there is a serious threat mounting and prayer can make a difference. More on this theme in the write up below.
Remember, at the end of the month, I will be ministering in Harrisburg, PA at Life Center with Charles and Anne Stock, Mahesh Chavda, Dave Hess, Sean Feucht and others for I MUST BURN! Together we will host 72 Hours of non-stop abandoned worship and prayer. Visit I MUST BURN for more information concerning this fiery gathering February 24 – 27, 2010. I will have a special “EN Update Luncheon” on Saturday at noontime for the first 150 people. You have to get your ticket on site as there is NO pre-registration for the conference. A free gift will be given to each person coming to the luncheon. I hope to see some of you there!

THE IRANIAN THREAT
Iran warns it will 'punch' the West on Islamic revolution anniversary
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran's supreme leader, has said that the country is set to deliver a "punch" that will stun world powers during this week's 31st anniversary of the Islamic revolution.
London Telegraph Published: 7:00AM GMT 09 Feb 2010
"The Iranian nation, with its unity and God's grace, will punch the arrogance (Western powers) on the 22nd of Bahman (February 11) in a way that will leave them stunned," Khamenei, who is also Iran's commander-in-chief, told a gathering of air force personnel.
The country's top cleric was marking the occasion when Iran's air force gave its support to revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, a key event which led to the toppling of the US-backed shah on February 11, 1979.

Khamenei: Iran Set to Deliver 'Punch' to Stun West on Anniversary
Iran's Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Monday that Iran is set to deliver a "punch" that will stun world powers during this week's 31st anniversary of the Islamic revolution, AFP reported.
"The Iranian nation, with its unity and God's grace, will punch the arrogance (Western powers) on the 22nd of Bahman, February 11, in a way that will leave them stunned," Khamenei, who is also Iran's commander-in-chief, told a gathering of air force personnel according to AFP.
The country's top cleric was marking the occasion when Iran's air force gave its support to revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, a key event which led to the toppling of the U.S.-backed shah on February 11, 1979.
His reported comments came as Iran said it would begin to produce higher enriched uranium from Tuesday, in defiance of Western powers trying to ensure the country's nuclear drive is peaceful.
This year's anniversary is expected to become a flash point between security forces and supporters of opposition leaders Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi, who charge that the June re-election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was rigged.

Iran's Leader: Feb. 11 To Be ‘Demise’ of ‘Capitalist System’
(CNSNews.com) – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Feb. 11 would mark the demise of “the liberal capitalist system,” adding that its champion, America, was on the decline and that Iran and its Islamic Revolution were on the rise.
According to a Jan. 28 translation from BBC Monitoring Middle East, Ahmadinejad spoke on official Iranian television, saying that this year’s “Ten Days of Dawn” celebration, marking the anniversary of the country’s Islamic Revolution, would see the “demise” of the American system.
“I believe that 22 Bahman [ February 11 in the Persian calendar] this year marks the demise of the liberal capitalist system.” Ahmadinejad said.
The controversial Iranian president explained that, 30 years ago, Iran was merely trying to consolidate its newly minted revolution. Today, however, the country was quickly moving to overtake what he claimed was a declining United States.

Iran's police vow no tolerance towards protesters
* Police issue warning ahead of revolution anniversary
* Opposition leaders have urged people to attend rally
TEHRAN, Feb 6 (Reuters) - Iranian police will show no more tolerance towards anti-government protesters, the force's chief was quoted as saying on Saturday, in a warning to the opposition before possible new demonstrations next week.
Iran has been rocked by street unrest since its disputed presidential election last June. Internet messages have circulated about new protests on Feb. 11, when Iran marks the 31st anniversary of the 1979 Islamic revolution.
Supporters of the pro-reform opposition have used such official occasions to stage new rallies in recent months, despite many arrests in a continuing crackdown by authorities.
Opposition leaders Mirhossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karoubi have called on supporters to attend next week's rally. An opposition website, Jaras, on Saturday said a youth group backing Mousavi also urged people to take part.
Government officials have rejected opposition charges that the June vote was rigged to secure the re-election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. They portrayed the election protests as a Western-backed bid to undermine the Islamic establishment.
"Now that the different dimensions of the sedition are clear, we won't show any more tolerance," police chief Esmail Ahmadi-Moghaddam said, the ILNA news agency reported.
"Police will act firmly to defend the society's security and those who break the law will be dealt with severely," he said.

A Brief History of Iran:

Iran is an anomaly in the area. Many people call them Arabs, but they are actually Persian. Iran can claim both Cyrus the Great and Daniel in their history. It was only 1,000 years after these men lived that Iran was conquered by Arab armies and became a regional center for Islam.
There is also a rich Jewish history coming out of Iran. The Books of Isaiah, Daniel, Ezra, Nehemiah, Chronicles, and Esther contain references to the life in Iran (then Persia). Jews have lived in Iran for over 2,700 years—since the capture of the Jewish Northern Kingdom by the Assyrians in 722 B.C.
From the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 until the Iranian Revolution in 1979, Israel and Iran maintained close ties. Israel viewed Iran as a natural ally as another non-Arab power in the Arab world. While the two countries did not have diplomatic relations, Israel had a permanent delegation in Tehran which served as an unofficial embassy. Iran even came to Israel’s aid after the Six Day War, supplying Israel with oil and utilizing Israeli oil pipelines to get its oil to market. Up until 1979 the two countries maintained trade relations and even joint military operations. All that changed with the overthrow of the Shah of Iran and the rise of the Ayatollah Khomeini.
Since the Ayatollah came to power, Iran is now the most effective counterbalance to U.S. intentions in the region. It is interesting to note that in the beginning of the Iraq War, the U.S. had the support of the Iranian government (even allowing our planes to land in Iran if they had mechanical trouble). This was because Iran was led to believe that the U.S. would support a Shiite-led government in Iraq, becoming an Iranian puppet state, in effect...

Closing Prayer:
Father, in Jesus' name we release peace over the people of Iran. We ask for a revelation of your love to be made known to them. Father, we ask that the Leaders of Iran would turn from violence and find wisdom from Heaven. Father we declare, "Let your Kingdom come for the nation of Iran, and its people. Let your Kingdom come this week in Iran as it is in Heaven." Father we pray for divine appointments to be made that will not only stop any evil that has been planned but also to open doors of salvation to all those involved. Amen.
