Today I want to share some highlights of our Women on the Frontlines Gathering 2009 ~ Empowering Champions of Compassion. After 12 years it seems hard to say this, but it is true that each year they get better and better. I truly feel that this may have been one of the most stirring WOFL Conferences we have had the privilege of hosting.

Heidi Baker opened up with "The Journey and the Cost of Carrying Tenuous Love to the Ends of the Earth". She took the night to open her heart and shared the cost that she and Rolland, their family and staff have paid to see the GREAT manifestations of God. In her second session she asked Father God to drown us in His River and fill our hearts with Passion and Compassion. As Heidi cried out, "I am Love Sick, I am Love Sick...come and Kiss Your People today!" The presence of the Lord hit and we were wrecked!

Sharon Stone shared on being "Highly Motivated" through her personal story of breaking out of personal containment as she suffered from a debilitating bone disease as a young girl. She told of being EMPOWERED as she broke through her ceiling and how she would never return to that limitation again. Sharon challenged us to become "Highly Motivated" to reach our goals and break the things that contain us and to become solutions in the earth! The next morning Sharon challenged us with "He will finish what He has begun (put with) in you"! "The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead.." is the same Spirit that empowers you! The resurrection POWER of God Hab.-3:4"...rays flashed from his hand, where his power was hidden." She challenges us to take the Glory and Power of God to the nations!

Shelvi Gilmore lit a FIRE that will not soon go out! She was as one who had set her self on fire and we watched her burn. This powerful women of God from Sri Lanka and missionary to the Middle East not only burned with the presence of God but also brought the demonstration of His Love as she prayed for all who wanted prayer. Many were healed and fully restored by his love and Grace. One lady came using a walker and could barely get around. Shelvi prayed with her for over 20 minutes and God showed up and she walked up and down the hallway and showed up the next day with out the walker and going strong! There were many other testomies of healing that came out of her time praying for the sick and broken hearted.

Patricia King started of by reading Isaiah 60 and sharing on how God's going to accelerate and increase the manifestation of Glory (Wealth and Wisdom) on you, in you and through you in this hour so that the entire earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord, declaring that we are living in the finest hour! She went on to walk us through the bible and show what the manifest Glory of the Lord looks like...you will want to hear this message, it changed all of us! Saturday morning Patricia challenged us with only out of great need will great miracles come. We are created for Blessings! We are Blessed so that we can be a Blessing to go to the nations

I was blessed to share in the Saturday evening service which was a combined conference and Grace Center church service. It was a powerful time sharing with all the WOFL attendees and in my home church. Every time we host a gathering I feel it can not go any higher or be any more powerful and God seems able to do just that. This was no exception. It is seldom that I say "You need this CD set" but YOU NEED TO HEAR WHAT GOD SAID THROUGH THESE POWERFUL AND EMPOWERED WOMEN!

Women on the Frontlines Conference 2009 was amazing! There was an increased level of revelatory teaching inspired by the Holy Spirit. Each of the speakers walk in an incredible place of authority in their sphere of influence. Their personal life experiences of the faithfulness of God and the power of God were extraordinary!

I came away with an increased desire for a more intimate walk with Jesus, a hunger to see the power of Jesus manifested in my life every day, and a fresh determination to dream big! I was encouraged, challenged and radically changed! You need to hear these women share and empower you to become a Champion of Compassion!
