Women on the Frontlines:

gathering to seek

the Lord...

Women on the Frontlines: a decade of women gathering to seek the Lord - to fellowship, to grow, to heal, to learn, to experience the power of Holy Spirit to equip each other to become the women that God has called them to be.

On August 1st - 4th, 2007 we celebrated our tenth anniversary of the Women on the Frontlines conferences. The theme: A Great Company of Women was especially relevant for the times in which we live. Jane Hamon on the second night of the conference spoke about a word that the Lord had spoken to her about the year 2007. The Lord told her that in the year 2007 it was changing from Mission Impossible to Mission Accomplished with the first part of the year battling to survive and the second portion battling to plunder. Jane believes that TheCall Nashville was the turning point where we began to plunder the enemies territory, and what better way than with equipping a great company of women!

2007 is a significant year - and to add to the blessings, GOD-TV came to video tape the conference. The television crew filmed all the sessions which will be broadcasted to over 200 countries and millions of households around the globe! GOD-TV is such a wonderful blessing to the Christian world of media and Encounters Network is thrilled to be a part of sending the message of the power of God around the world!

This year approximately 400 registrants attended the day sessions with double that coming for the night sessions. Each of the 9 speakers: Cindy Jacobs, Lee Grady, Jane Hamon, Jill Austin, Beth Alves, Dabney Mann, Shelvi Gilmore and Michal Ann & James Goll brought a different message and yet each word fit together as one cohesive unit. Each message was distinct, yet like a puzzle, each piece locked perfectly into the next, causing the picture to flow perfectly so that the Holy Spirit was able to move through to touch hearts and change lives.

Every individual there had a role to playto help produce movement and flow across the four days. First, the Holy Spirit set up people’s hearts, and moved us into a place of readiness. Cindy Jacobs brought a message of what the Deborah Company is doing worldwide and how the power of God is moving everywhere from factories in Pakistan to Interstate-35 in the heart of the United States.

Following this stage of preparation, the Lord came with deliverance, healing, and forgiveness and as a result people were able to move into a place of freedom and wholeness. Dabney Mann came with a message of reaching out into the unknown and stepping out and finding freedom in following the Lord’s calling on your life to reach those He has called you to.

Lee Grady’s message was particularly significant, as a brother in Christ, calling the women of God out of their broken places and into wholeness and renewal. Also, Lee asked forgiveness as a representative of spiritual leaders for any wrongs that have been done and words spoken that created spiritual abuse.

Jane Hamon came with messages of breakthrough! And no delay! Believing that we are moving into a time of rediscovering righteousness, rest, authority, and identity. She admonished us to come out of our caves! No more fear and intimidation!

Then, out of that healing and wholeness came a fiery hunger for more and more of God. Jill Austin came with a message and impartation of passion and longing to want Him with every fiber of our being.

Shelvi Gilmore powerfully exhorted us saying, "okay what do we do with what we have been given? We give it! We go! We do not let the manna rot! Just do it!" Just as Michal Ann shared about Compassion Acts, we are to take on the compassionate heart of Christ and give what we have been given. It is our calling; it is our destiny; and as women we have a special place in the body to minister in ways that men cannot. As Beth Alves mentioned, it is such a blessing and privilege to be a woman because women have the opportunity to birth world leaders. We must step into our callings, we must step forward and accept our battle assignments.

The last evening, James and Michal Ann both brought powerful messages on intercession and the book of Daniel respectively. James talked about some of powerful women intercessors of the Bible, calling out the prophetic intercessors to take up their destiny.

In closing, Cindy Jacobs shared that as she drove up to Belmont Church on the first day of the conference the Lord told her to look at the address, which is 68 Music Square East. The Lord gave her Psalm 68:11, “The Lord gives the word; the women who announce the news are a great host,” and it continues in verse 12, “the kings of the armies – they flee, they flee!” Shelvi Gilmore later reminded us of a saying, “If you tell a woman, you tell the world!” Lord, let that be true! This is the time of the harvest, it is the time to send people out to bring the harvest in! May the armies of the enemy flee at the host of women that rise up!
