Our PrayerStorm efforts this week will highlight Revival in the Church. Europe needs a mighty out pouring of the Holy Spirit as does every other continent. TheCall France is the first International Call that will be partnering directly with the missions movement. It will be held on Pentecost weekend, the weekend of the Global Day of Prayer, in a 16,000 person stadium in Bercy, France (the eastern suburb of Paris).
We are requesting prayer for both the evangelistic crusade (with evangelists Freddy de Coster, Claudio Friedzen, Carlos Anacondia, Luis Palau) which will be held on the evenings of May 29th – June 1st, as well as for TheCall France, which will be held on Saturday, May 30th from 9 am – 3 pm in the same stadium. Although much prayer has already gone on for the nation of France, we want to continue to labor in prayer until the fullness of God’s intent for this nation is realized . . . “on earth as it is in heaven..” Please see the attached schedule to know the specific issues that will be addressed this particular day.
Intercessors from across Europe will be invited to come and stand in prayer for France and for Francophone countries. Intercessors are also invited to fill the prayer room (seats 800 persons) and pray for the harvest during the entire time the crusade in going on. Please send this prayer request to other intercessors you know, and invite them to pray either in the stadium or in their closets and prayer rooms during this time.
In addition to TheCall France, Leon Hoover and I will be flying to take part in a Prophetic Intercession Conference in Lyon, France called France en Feu (France on Fire). This Saturday we will also be joining TheCall Lyon, which will be a prelude to TheCall France which will take place later in May. We have included more information about the trip to Lyon below. So this week, we want to pray for The Call Lyon and a move of the Holy Spirit amongst the French speaking peoples of the earth.

Praying for Lyon, France
This is a prophetic word that James Goll released in 2004 concerning Lyon, France. EN staff member, Leon Hoover, translated this from French to English. Lyon, France will host an event to prepare the way for TheCall France later in the month of May.

During the meeting "TARGETING EUROPE" in Strasbourg on Friday 21 May 2004, a prophet, Jim Goll, saw clearly in the Spirit 4 letters "LYON".

LYON est une ville clé en Europe et qu'il fallait intercéder pour recouvrir un événement dans l'histoire de cette ville qui faisait blocage à un déversement de l'Esprit. LYON est une matrice apostolique et cette matrice a besoin d'être purifiée. Il est urgent d'appeler et de réclamer les promesses.
Lyon is a key city in Europe and there is a need to intercede to cover an event in the history of this city that has been blocking a release of the Spirit. LYON is/has an Apostolic matrix/root (? matrix is not quite the right word in english) and this matrix/root needs to be purified. It is urgent to call forth and reclaim these promises.
Le même jour, vendredi 21 MAI 2004, un groupe de chrétiens d'une école de réconciliation (Réseau JEM et Réseau John Dawson) recevait ce qui suit dans un temps d'intercession : Une image d’un fleuve d’où le niveau de l’eau qui monte et qui monte et a apporté un sentiment de crainte de débordement et de destruction.
The same day, Friday 21 May 2004, a group of Christian students from the Reconciliation Network (JEM Network and John Dawson) received the following in a time of intercession: "A picture of a river where the level of water is going up and up and brought a sense of fear of overflow and destruction.

C’est comme si chaque fois que Dieu a amené une œuvre de l’Esprit dans cette ville pour y creuser un puits de réveil, il y a eu une volonté d’expulsion, d’extermination de cette œuvre de l’Esprit (18000 massacres du temps d’Irénée source du « Guide Vert »). Nous rappelons qu’il est dit que cette ville tue les prophètes, et qu’elle est considérée comme un cimetière des prophètes. Avec l’expulsion de Valdo, la malédiction qu’ils ont cru évacuer de la ville est retombée sur la ville comme Jésus l’a dit par rapport à Jérusalem : Luc 3.23-28.
The Vaudois [french for Waldensians] (fire) had been lit in Lyons, but they were evicted from Lyon. It's as if each time God brought a work of the Spirit in this city to dig a well of awakening, there was a move to remove it, to cast it out, destroying this work of the Spirit (18,000 massacred during the time of Irénée of the " Green Guide "). We say that it is said that this city kills the Prophets/Seers, and that it is considered to be a graveyard of the Prophets/Seers.
The curse which they believed to have removed from the city by killing Valdo, fell again on the city as Jesus said it in comparison with Jerusalem: Luke 3.23-28.
Please join James and I and others in prayer for Lyon, France this week as we join intercessors from across France to pronounce destiny and to seek the Lord for the breaking of any remaining curse over the city, that it may receive the fullness of what the Lord has prepared! Let's pray for an unprecedented out pouring of God's presence. France shall be saved!
