Health Update for April 18, 2008

For Michal Ann Goll

Greetings in the Wonderful Name of Jesus!

As most of you know, Michal Ann was able to travel to Oklahoma for the distribution of food through Compassion Acts and be a part of the National Day of Prayer for the Cherokee. She was honored to receive a “Cherokee blanket” for her humanitarian work.

The following week, she had her 5th round of chemo therapy and appeared at first to do well with the treatment. But it appears she has had a delayed reaction to the last chemo treatment, and it is causing problems in her stomach and digestive tract. At one point this week she virtually did not eat a thing for over 3 days and could not even take in fluids.

Last night things seemed to take another swing for the worse, resulting in some vomiting, confusion and weakness. I talked to the doctors late last night and then chose to wait until this morning to take her to see our excellent oncology doctor. He stated that her lungs seems to be in good condition and her blood work was good, but that she was probably having nausea and a reaction due to the build up of the chemo therapy.

As a result, Michal Ann has just been admitted again (Friday, April 18th) to the Williamson County Medical Center right here in Franklin, TN. They will begin administering fluids via IV and monitor her electrolyte levels. She will probably be in the hospital for the weekend and then her condition will be re-evaluated.

Please join us in praying for strength for Michal Ann's entire being. Pray that the Kingdom of God will be upon her digestive tract. Speak peace to her organs and command life to Michal Ann Goll in Jesus Name! Thanks for standing with us!
