Dear Intercessors and Worshippers around the world:

The Lord impressed upon me during a time of prayer
that we were to set aside forty days to seek Him. He revealed that we should go to a major well of revival
for intense prayer, fasting, spiritual warfare, and
worship that would result in a tidal wave of signs
and wonders sweeping the globe.


Forty Days is an open invitation to intercessors and worshippers from across the face of the earth to join with us at Christ For the Nations in Dallas, Texas. There we will pray to see the lost saved, terminally ill patients healed, and the demonized delivered.

In addition to the 24/7 intercession that will continue throughout the fast, we will be having miracle services for the last ten nights. Ads will be placed in the local newspapers inviting people to witness the unbelievable that will take place as a result of this time of consecration.

Intercession, worship, warfare, fasting, unity . . . Imagine the potential of 40 Days!

Why have we chosen Dallas, Texas to hold this event? You may have heard about some of the healing revivals that have taken place in the Dallas area. Great leaders such as Gordon Lindsay and the Voice of Healing, F.F. Bosworth, Maria Woodworth-Etter, Oral Roberts and others have ministered here and seen mighty, sweeping moves of God.

"The USA ! Your own home state of Texas. DFW. The metro is next. The wells of the healing revival of the 40's and 50's are being re-dug. The original roots are about to spring up from the intercession that has watered them and, I too, must honor the prayers and prophecies about the return that was seen in the dreams and desires of those who tasted but never were satisfied, for it never reached the flood-tide proportion that I had intended for them to experience. This time is different. I will not stop it because of the lack of character and understanding this time. Dallas Fort-Worth will be filled to overflowing with this great outpouring. Hundreds of churches will soon experience what they once did over fifty years ago."

For years prophets have spoken that the Dallas area would be the birthplace of a mighty revival that will touch all the nations of the earth. Genesis records that, "Isaac dug again the wells of water which they had dug in the days of Abraham his father, for the Philistines had stopped them up after the death of Abraham. He called them by the names which his father had called them" (Genesis 26:18). President Dennis Lindsey has graciously offered to partner with us as we tap this well-spring of revival on the grounds of Christ For the Nations Institute. The 40 days will be held in the very place where Gordon Lindsay founded the Voice of Healing movement.

Why haven't we seen this taking place? Perhaps it is because we have not, with focused effort, fasted and prayed and beseeched heaven to do just that. It is simple: if we do what He said to do, souls will be saved, healing will spring forth, and those who are in bondage will be set free. This is our vision and our purpose.

For the duration of the 40 Days we will have people taking part, both on-site and in their own cities and homes. Each week will have a specific focus.

How Do I Get Involved?

The success of 40 Days depends upon your involvement. You can get involved in all of the following ways:

Facilitate and lead prayer

Cindy will supply a 40-day prayer guide that will give each day a specific focus. As a prayer leader, you will spearhead the prayer and keep the focus.

Lead worship

Schedule your team to lead worship for a three-hour time slot.

Usher

Oversee the events in the prayer room, or serve as an usher during 10 Nights of Miracles

Come to Dallas

40 Days consists of around the clock intercession and worship. Bring your team of intercessors to Dallas to be a part of this event. Whether it is three hours or three days, we encourage you to come and bring your prayer team!

Pray from your own location

Unable to come to Dallas? E-mail 40daysprayerfasting@generals.org and let us know if you are joining us in prayer from your own location. Provide us with the name of your church and your location and we can post you on our calendar.
