Prayer to Honor Our Fathers |
In the United States, and possibly in other countries of the world, we celebrate Father’s Day this coming Sunday, June 16th. With this in mind, this week in our global Prayer Storm, we are going to honor fathers around the world by praying for them. As we always do, adapt these themes to fit for your own situation and/or nation.
I am also bringing you this week a great MP3 message by one of the wonderful fathers of the global Prophetic Movement – Bishop Bill Hamon of Christian International. I felt it would be appropriate to expose you to this classic message given at the Voice of the Prophets Conference this past January. Papa Bill is one of EN’s Apostolic Advisers and has possibly activated more people into a prophetic gifting than any other in church history. I also inserted one of my newest short webcasts entitled, “The Harvest Is Ripe”. The combination of these tools will wonderfully complement this week’s theme.
Lord, this week we bless our natural fathers and grandfathers, as well as those who are spiritual fathers of the faith. We pray that they would be rewarded with strength, good health, and wisdom beyond their years. We call forth the blessing of dreams, visions and encounters with You, the living God.
If any of our relatives do not yet know You, we pray that You give them a visitation of Your mercy and reveal the loving-kindness of Your son Jesus to them. We pray for a revival among these dear men around the world and that you empower them for such a time as this!
We are thankful that we not only have “teachers of the faith”, but in this generation, we also have “fathers of the faith” as well. So we pray for special blessings for all our dear fathers in the faith this week as well in Jesus’ great name!
