This past week in our Global Prayer Storm we “put on the helmet of hope” and called forth hope ambassadors of Good News across the globe. This week, still being the beginning of the new calendar year, I wanted to bring you a simple message from one of my apostolic advisers, Dr. Don Finto of the Caleb Company in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a Prayer of Cleansing as we cross the threshold into this new year of great promises. So, follow me as we pray Psalm 24:3-5 where it states:
"Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?"
"He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully."
"He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation."

May the Lord keep you challenged to walk closer to Him this year, listening to His voice, responding to His every call. May you never be satisfied with the status quo. May you be much more than a cultural Christian. May the Lord keep you from a critical spirit as you passionately pursue Him, walking in kindness and gentleness toward others who do not yet share your passion.
May He ignite a holy fire within you that will never be extinguished. May He give you such hunger and thirst to walk with Him that you yearn for the time to spend quality time with Him - even if it means getting up in the middle of the night. And when you do take this time to be with Him, may you be caught up in His Presence, filled with His desires and empowered to walk in His ways. |
May the Lord cleanse every corner of your heart and remove anything that would hinder intimacy with Him. May there be not even a hint or shadow of ungodliness or unforgiveness that finds shelter within you.
May He make you alert to temptation so that you freely confess lust, greed, pride, selfishness, jealousy, gossip, or any other sin, large or small, that He finds within you.
May this never bring a shadow of guilt over you, but rather free you to become all that He intended for your destiny in Him.
