We are so glad to be able to come into your home with our monthly e-blast from Compassion Acts. We try to keep you in tune with our many activities of reaching out with the love of God. We cannot be His hands and feet without the rest of the Body of Christ doing their part. Some Pray - Some Go - Some Give… We need all three parts working together!

This month we are featuring a division of Compassion Acts called Anchor of Hope. We raise support for people in need and the poor or disabled to demonstrate the love of Christ. This work is done on a relational basis with people that the CA Leadership Council personally knows and trusts. Your support for Anchor of Hope on a monthly basis or as a one-time gift is greatly appreciated! This month we are highlighting the need of our friend Michael Robinson and the Door of Hope Foundation.

Join co-founder of Generals International, Cindy Jacobs, apostolic voice of the Caleb Company, Don Finto, International House Of Prayer – Kansas City worship leader, Julie Meyer, founder of BURN 24/7, Sean Feucht, director of The Cry Canada, Faytene Grasseschi, leaders of the band August York, McKendree and Rachel Tucker, James Goll and others this November 3–5, 2011 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I will also be there to give an overview of the work of Compassion Acts.

This note is an overview and status update of a new ministry Mickey and Barbara Robinson of Prophetic Destiny International are launching called Door of Hope Foundation which is both timely and unprecedented. We are trusting the Lord to move mightily upon the lives of individuals on behalf of these precious ones in need!

Opening Opportunities for Those with Disabilities

Our oldest son, Michael, was born with the diagnosis of cerebral palsy which was complicated by a failed back operation that caused increased pain, emotional trauma, and other obstacles that need to be removed. Those that know our son are taken by his good humor, compassion for others, along with the zeal to live a full life, and find destiny in God. There are so many others in need just like our son.

Some of the goals and missions of Door of Hope Foundation is to provide supportive residential living, loving therapeutic care, training for gainful employment, immigration into the mainstream society, and expressing their identity of who they are in the Lord rather than some association that sets limitations on them. Our son, Michael, is now 35 years old. We have scoured this nation and nothing of this nature appears to exist - either in the Church, or in the secular world - to empower those who need a jump-start in life to help them contribute from their gifts and calling to others. We need your assistance to meet the needs of our son, and others like him.

Presently, we are concluding the adaptations of a one level house in Spring Hill, Tennessee that will be an outstanding first ever housing/training residence for Door of Hope. The adaptations will cost in the range of $10,000. Michael will have a suitable housemate to share the expenses and enjoy a loving non-institutional real home where their lives will have greater freedom and opportunity to seek their destiny. This will prove to be a model, as well as an eye-opener, of authentic Samaritan Inn expression of love and compassion. Your contribution will make a significant impact because of the weight of love you carry.

Statement of Endorsement

The Robinson family has been dear friends of the Encounters Network and Compassion Acts ministries for years. Not only have we ministered around the globe together, but the Golls and the Robinsons have lived in the same community and neighborhood for several years.  It is our delight to help promote their need through our division of Compassion Acts, called Anchor of Hope. Responses from this appeal for assistance with the housing adaptation for Door of Hope Foundation and Michael Robinson, will be channeled through Anchor of Hope and will therefore be a tax deductible contribution.

Reformation Day of Prayer

On October 31, 2011 at 7pm CDT, we are calling every person to join with Mike and Cindy Jacobs by watching live on the web as we cry out to turn the nations back to the heart of God. We really believe that recent weather reports of hurricanes, tsunamis, and earthquakes are signs that the earth is groaning for the revelation of the Sons of God. Reformation is needed now more than ever amid growing reports of economic crises and social upheaval. Through prayer and worship, we will be asking God to bring reformation to the hearts of people, to the United States, and to the nations of the earth. Mike and Cindy will be joined by Chuck Pierce, Mark Gonzales, Herman Martir, Will & Dehavilland Ford, John Benefiel and James Nesbit with worship led by Bethany Stephens.
